Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. are not-for-profit organizations. Project Alpha/Project AKA is the product of a National Program by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. titled Project Alpha. In 1980, Project Alpha was designed to educate young males ages 12-15 on sexual health awareness, teen pregnancy, abstinence, self-esteem, relationship issues and responsible decision-making skills. Over 19 years ago, Philadelphia members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (Omicron Delta Lambda Chapter) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Rho Theta Omega Chapter) decided to collaborate and brought together both young men and women with Project Alpha/Project AKA. All workshops are facilitated by professionals in the health care field. These two century old organizations continue a tradition of service involving leadership, education, voter registration, health, economics, entrepreneurship and advancements through technology to the local & national communities.

ODL Chapter TIME TO CELEBRATE FOUNDERS' DAY 2009!!!

http://www.odlchapter.com/videos/Cheese_Wine05.mov

Amazing the things you find just sitting around on your hard drive. The video connected to the link above is from a 2005 ODL sponsored a wine and cheese event, led by Bro. John Jeter. It was nothing big…just a moment to socialize among the Brothers and a few friends. The Brothers of Psi Chapter and Pi Rho Chapter came thru to support. It’s a memory of times past and the large spirit of Fraternity that existed in the City. It also serves as reminder of the times yet to come and the bonds we need to continue to cultivate and expand.

I am hoping you will be able to join us as we Broaden the Bonds of Brotherhood on Founder’s Day in Philadelphia.

Brothers, I hope you have marked your calendars and set aside your funds to attend this Citywide Alpha Chapter event.

This year, the Chapters of Philadelphia have come together for our annual celebration of our fraternity. Omicron Delta Lambda Chapter is the host this year and we asked that all Brethren in the Philadelphia area come out and join us as we celebrate 103 years as the leaders of the Divine Nine, leading the way in our communities through service and love for all mankind...

Tickets are $50 for Alumni and $30 for College. If Brothers are willing to sponsor College brothers, please contact Bro. Kevin Spratley (215-313-8749). You can also contact him and Bro. Ryan McLeod (803.318.7586) for tickets. (No Tickets Purchased at the Door!)

This years venue is the Chateau located in the Bridesburg section of the city, just off of I-95 Bridge Street Exit. The Chateau is at Bridge Street and Harbison Avenue. Happy Hour 7pm - 8pm (Open).

This year’s speaker will be Brother Eastern Regional Vice President Sean McCaskill. Additionally, as part of the program, we will "Take A Look Into The Future..." for dear old Alpha. Come Fellowship and Fraternize with Brothers of ole and new... Let's us Celebrate our dear, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
